This coffee is produced by Alcidez Avendano, on his farm in Colombia. The farm, Buena Vista, is located in the high altitudes of Gigante, Huila, where Alcidez Avendano focuses almost exclusively on cultivating the Caturra variety.

Caturra is celebrated for its exceptional cup quality, but its susceptibility to leaf rust and other diseases makes it a risky choice for many coffee producers in the region. Alcidez, however, has remained committed to this variety, believing that the extra effort and risk are justified by the quality it can deliver.

With vibrant flavors of plum and melon, this coffee is bright, complex, and fruit-forward - a reflection of both Alcidez’s dedication and the unique terroir of Huila.
